XERF is developed by Cynosure Lutronic, the company behind many clinically proven medical lasers used in aesthetic clinics worldwide. The device is also approved by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
XERF combines two RF frequencies – 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz – to deliver energy at multiple depths, including the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) layer, which is typically targeted in surgical facelifts. This multi-layer approach supports both surface improvement and deep structural tightening.
XERF selectively treats three different depths depending on the area:

At Mizu, we apply topical numbing cream for approximately 30 minutes to ensure comfort. While many clinics in Singapore perform XERF without numbing cream, we prioritise patient comfort whenever possible. This will allow us to perform the treatment at optimum settings to ensure ideal results.
The treatment typically takes 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the areas treated. You may feel a warm sensation as the RF energy works through the deeper layers of your skin. This is generally well-tolerated.
You may experience mild redness that resolves quickly post-treatment. There is no downtime, and you can resume normal activities and apply makeup immediately.
