Dr Tan Ying Zhou (Dr YZ Tan) is the Founder and Medical Director of Mizu Aesthetic Clinic, established in 2015. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from St. George’s, University of London, and deepened his clinical experience in aesthetic procedures through a dermatology internship at the National Taiwan University Hospital. Dr Tan also serves as a regional trainer for technologies including lasers, fillers, skin boosters and anti-ageing injectable protocols.
Guided by years of dedicated training and meticulous planning, Dr Tan is committed to delivering safe, effective, and personalised aesthetic care. He keeps abreast of evolving techniques and technologies, having participated in numerous local and international medical conferences and workshops to ensure his practice remains current and evidence-based.
Dr Tan’s clinical interests include nose augmentation and anti-ageing treatments. He tailors each treatment to individual needs, with the aim of supporting patients in their goal to maintain a refreshed and natural appearance over time.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr Tan is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer. His passion for the ocean is reflected in Mizu’s name, inspired by the Japanese word for “water,” and in the clinic’s décor, which features some of his own underwater photography.
