Dr Lai Wen Shen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He went on to join the National University Health System (NUHS) Family Medicine Residency Programme, where he spent three years gaining experience across multiple specialties and developing a holistic approach to patient care.
Known for his approachable and attentive manner, Dr Lai takes time to understand each patient’s needs before recommending a treatment plan. He values a thoughtful and considered approach, ensuring that every decision is guided by both clinical knowledge and individual circumstances.
Dr Lai’s medical experience spans General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, as well as Adult and Children’s Emergency Medicine. His interest in aesthetic medicine grew from his work in primary care and his dedication to helping patients enhance their confidence and overall well-being. At Mizu Aesthetic Clinic, he focuses on minimally invasive aesthetic procedures that aim to achieve natural and harmonious results.

A lesser-known fact: he has been cutting and styling his own hair for the past five years, a testament to his steady hands and creative flair.
