What if there’s a treatment that can shrink your pores and give you radiant, smooth and hydrated skin all at the same time?
Introducing the latest treatment protocol by Dr YZ Tan, Mizu’s Signature Radiance Revival comprises a synergistic 3-step combination of radiofrequency micro-needling, nutrient-rich skin boosters and yellow laser technology.
Harnessing the power of a trio of treatments, a single session aims to address a spectrum of common skin concerns such as dull, textured skin, enlarged pores, dryness, pigmentation, redness and more.
Using Sylfirm X which marries two popular skin rejuvenation treatments, micro-needling and radiofrequency, this part of the treatment delivers synergistic action in stimulating collagen production and remodelling skin.
The mechanical act of micro-needling creates micro-injuries to the skin via the use of tiny needles. This stimulates your skin’s healing process so that it produces more collagen and elastin. Radiofrequency energy transmitted through the micro-needles then delivers heat into the layers of the skin in a controlled manner. This causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres for a tightening effect while simultaneously stimulating more collagen production.
This helps to:
Skin boosters, as the name suggests, are meant to strengthen and improve the quality of your skin. Using Cytocare S Line, which contains hyaluronic acid and a rejuvenating complex, this skin booster provides both hydration and antioxidant benefits.
It acts on two levels simultaneously:
The Cytocare skin booster also stimulates the production of sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which is important for cell growth and repair as well as increasing the skin’s ability to hold water.
Popularly known as the Glass Skin laser, the Pro Yellow Laser is effective in targeting pigments in the epidermis and instantly brightening the skin.
The energy from the laser is absorbed by both melanin (pigments) and the underlying blood vessels which results in the breakdown of pigments and elimination of blood vessels. This step helps to reduce redness and clear pigments from the skin for a brighter and more even complexion.
The Pro Yellow Laser can:
Aesthetic doctors face a common conundrum – patients have multiple skin concerns that they want to address all at once. These are common concerns that affect most people, ranging from dull skin, dryness, uneven skin tone and texture, pigmentation and enlarged pores.
A brainchild of Dr YZ Tan, Mizu’s Signature Radiance Revival was created with this in mind, to help patients address their most common concerns with maximum results and the least amount of downtime.
The most important aspect of this treatment is how each procedure comes together to produce synergistic results, as not all aesthetic procedures can be paired together.
In the case of Radiance Revival, each step was meticulously thought out in terms of finding the right procedure to incorporate, the most suitable settings and the sequence of treatments to ensure not just efficacy but safety as well.
First, your skin will be gently cleansed before you are taken for a skin analysis. A thorough consultation with a registered medical professional will be done prior to any treatment.
A topical anaesthetic will then be applied to ensure any discomfort is minimised. The topical anaesthetic is then removed after an adequate time has passed before the procedure is carried out. Our doctor will then ensure that your skin is clean before carrying out the treatment.
After the treatment is over, a cold gel and yellow LED light therapy will be provided to help reduce redness and aid healing.
For overall rejuvenation and general maintenance, patients are recommended to do 2 to 3 sessions a year, although results can already be seen from just 1 session.
There may be mild redness and bumps on the skin from the skin booster for up to a day following the treatment. Due to the Sylfirm X treatment, there may also be slight flushing of the skin for 1 to 2 days.
Avoid strong and/or prolonged sun exposure for at least 1 week both before and after the treatment. Avoid harsh skincare ingredients such as retinols, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C and any other products that may be abrasive or irritating to the skin for up to a week.
A topical cream is usually prescribed to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation and infection. This should be applied diligently for the first few days. Adequate sun protection and moisturisation are also key for faster recovery and to reduce the chance of side effects.
