About Dr. YZ Tan

Dr YZ Tan realised his ambition of running his own clinic after putting tremendous effort into mastering skills and pooling resources. Along with his keen interest in aesthetics was a fiercely entrepreneurial spirit which saw through each step of putting the clinic together.

Being in the target age group of popular trends allows Dr Tan to react swiftly to the changing demands of his patients. He keeps himself updated with the latest procedures, and has attended more than 40 conferences and workshops around the world within the last six years!

Area of Specialty

Due to his expertise and experience, Dr Tan has been earmarked by Quanta (Discovery Pico & Ruby) and Galderma (Dysport & Restylane Fillers) as a trainer for up-and-coming aesthetic doctors.

Dr Tan’s utmost expertise lies in nose augmentation and anti-aging solutions, like the Profhilo, Ultraformer HIFU and Thermage, personalising his treatments to each individual’s ageing and facial concerns.

He strongly believes that aesthetics can significantly retain one’s youth and transform the ageing process into a graceful, pleasant journey.

Other Interests

An avid scuba diver and underwater photographer, some of Dr Tan’s underwater pictures are part of Mizu’s décor. The rebranding of Simplistiq into Mizu also stems from Dr Tan’s passion about the ocean and his plans to promote marine conservation and education through some of his work and pictures.
